The
Community of Christ the King is a University Parish founded to serve the
University of Montana at Missoula. The Parish encompasses a broad spectrum
of people including undergraduates, graduates, foreign students, faculty,
staff and their families, as well as other Catholics in the area.
With Catholic Campus Ministry at the Archbishop Raymond G. Hunthausen
Newman Center and Christ the King Church students will experience
a vital Christian community and can receive formation and training to
become a leader for other Christian communities once they leave the University.
As a parish in ministry to the University of Montana, Christ the King
prepares a large number of people for the celebration of their sacrament
life. At the same time, we have a large size permanent community, which
includes many who are not affiliated with the University. Some of these
parishioners are engaged in our preparation teams and often are involved
in their own process of preparation for their family celebrations.
Our programs are designed and scheduled to fit into the life and calendar
of those who are part of the community of the University of Montana.
