Outreach

Through a variety of groups and ministries we have an extensive outreach
program at Christ the King. If you are interested in getting involved or
know of someone in need of assistance please call the office so we may place
you in contact with the appropriate group.
Parish Nurse Ministry
The Parish Nurses are registered nurses who volunteer as health promoters
focusing on the care of the whole person. Through education, health counseling,

to be active participants in their own health and wellness. The parish nurses
facilitate the following programs and are also available for one on one
meetings.

through the parish office further easing the burden on the family.
Service Group
The people behind the Service Group include men, women and university students.
The service group handles coffee hours, pancake breakfasts, and special
receptions (funeral luncheons, Confirmation receptions, RCIA receptions,
etc.), by providing baked goods and salads for these receptions, and help
with set-up, serving and clean-up. The service group also coordinates the
Spring Rummage Sale, Christmas Craft Fair and parish picnics. All of
these events serve to bring us all together as a household of faith.
